A fact that native Kansas Citians frequently find themselves explaining to others, (especially, it seems, those from the coasts): Kansas City is actually two cities -- Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri. Both have great BBQ, both have rabid chief's fans, but the cities have marked differences in character and culture.
